Ad revenue calculator

Estimate a hypothetical monthly revenue scenario from eligible ad requests, fill rate, gross eCPM and publisher share. All inputs are assumptions. Results are not verified ADX earnings, payment terms or a revenue guarantee.

Hypothetical inputs — these are not ADX commercial terms

Estimated filled impressions: 80,000

Estimated gross revenue: $160

Estimated publisher revenue: $112

At half / one-and-a-half times your eCPM, publisher revenue would be $56 / $168. This is a sensitivity scenario, not a confidence interval.

Formula and worked example

Filled impressions = eligible requests × fill rate / 100. Gross revenue = filled impressions / 1,000 × gross eCPM. Publisher revenue = gross revenue × publisher share / 100.

For 100,000 eligible requests, 80% fill, $2 gross eCPM and a hypothetical 70% publisher share: 80,000 filled impressions produce $160 gross and $112 publisher revenue.

Use the right denominator

Page views are not ad impressions. Convert page views into eligible opportunities using your actual placement and consent conditions before using this model. If your eCPM already represents publisher revenue after fees, use a 100% share to avoid deducting fees twice.

Limitations

The model excludes taxes, currency conversion, invalid traffic adjustments, reporting differences and payment eligibility. The sensitivity range changes only eCPM; actual fill, pricing and traffic quality can change together.

Google’s reporting metric definitions explain why page and impression denominators differ. Check ADX integration availability and publisher payment disclosures before making a business decision.
